About the Project
CCK TM supplied ventilation equipment for ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine's largest mining and metallurgical enterprise with a fully integrated production cycle. The facility includes mining, coke production, sintering, steelmaking, and rolling operations, all of which require reliable ventilation systems and advanced fire protection solutions.
Ventilation Project Objectives for a Metallurgical Facility
Ventilation systems at metallurgical plants must provide efficient air exchange while also meeting stringent fire safety requirements. One of the key objectives of this project was to equip the facility with fire protection ventilation components capable of limiting the spread of smoke and combustion products while ensuring the safe operation of the building's engineering systems.
CCK TM Solution
To complete the project, CCK TM supplied equipment for industrial ventilation and fire protection systems.
| Equipment | Purpose |
KPU-1N | KPU-1N universal fire dampers are designed to automatically close ventilation openings during a fire and protect smoke extraction and smoke control ventilation systems. Installed where air ducts pass through walls, partitions, and floor slabs, they help prevent the spread of fire and smoke between fire compartments. |
Air control devices | Designed to balance and regulate airflow within ventilation systems. They ensure uniform air distribution, maintain the required air exchange parameters, and support the stable operation of industrial HVAC systems. |
CCK TM equipment complies with applicable industrial ventilation and fire protection standards and is used at facilities where safety, reliability, and continuous operation of engineering systems are essential.
Project Results
The implemented solution ensures safe operation of the ventilation systems, efficient airflow regulation, and enhanced fire protection throughout the production facilities. It contributes to compliance with industrial safety requirements, reliable operation of engineering systems, and uninterrupted performance of the metallurgical enterprise.
