About the Project
CCK TM supplied ventilation equipment for the smoke control systems of the Zarichnyi Residential Complex in Kyiv. The development is located on the first line of the Dnipro River and combines residential buildings, developed infrastructure, landscaped grounds and a riverside recreation area. The project comprises four construction phases.
Smoke Control Ventilation Objectives
The multi-storey residential development required a comprehensive smoke control solution designed to:
- efficiently remove smoke and hot gases during a fire;
- provide supply air for smoke control systems;
- remove combustion products and excess heat;
- create safer evacuation routes for residents;
- limit the spread of smoke through ventilation networks;
- ensure reliable equipment operation in emergency conditions.

For the smoke control systems, CCK TM supplied equipment for different ventilation functions. VRAN-DU/DUV centrifugal fans are designed to remove smoke and gases generated during a fire. Their impellers feature specially shaped backward-curved blades, providing high efficiency, stable operation and low noise levels. The rotating scroll casing allows the fan configuration to be adapted to installation conditions.
OZA-DUV axial fans provide smoke and hot gas extraction as well as heat removal during fire emergencies. They can operate not only in emergency mode but also in continuous-duty ventilation applications, combining smoke extraction and ventilation functions. Their compact axial design allows installation without significantly obstructing other engineering systems or CCTV viewing areas.
Project Results
The CCK TM equipment provides an integrated smoke control solution for the residential complex. The combination of exhaust and supply fans with fire-rated smoke dampers contributes to effective smoke, hot gas and heat removal, limits the spread of combustion products and helps create safer conditions for resident evacuation.
