About the Project
CCK TM supplied equipment for the smoke control ventilation system of the business-class French Quarter Residential Complex in the Pecherskyi district of Kyiv. The development occupies approximately 5 hectares and includes five buildings ranging from 9 to 25 storeys, with a total of 1,234 apartments. Its extensive infrastructure and large number of residential and public areas required a reliable fire safety and smoke control solution.
Project Objectives
The main objectives of the smoke control ventilation system included:
- efficient smoke and hot gas extraction during fire emergencies;
- creating safer conditions for resident evacuation;
- providing the required system capacity for buildings of different heights;
- ensuring reliable equipment operation under high-temperature conditions;
- minimizing the need for additional technical rooms and complex ductwork.
CCK TM Solution
Installed Equipment | Purpose |
| KROV | Roof-mounted centrifugal fans for ventilation and air extraction systems. |
OZA-501 | Axial fans for efficient smoke extraction and maintaining safer evacuation routes during fire emergencies. |
For the project, CCK TM supplied specialized equipment for the smoke control ventilation system. The KROV roof-mounted fans provide the required air extraction, while OZA-501 axial fans are designed for smoke extraction and combustion product removal.
The OZA-501 series combines high pressure performance with efficient airflow characteristics, making it suitable for smoke extraction systems in large buildings. Its design can also reduce the need for complex ductwork and additional technical rooms for equipment installation.
Project Results
The installed equipment provides effective smoke control ventilation and combustion product extraction during fire emergencies. The use of OZA-501 fans contributes to safer evacuation conditions, while the roof-mounted fan configuration allows the ventilation infrastructure of the multi-storey development to be organized efficiently.
