About the Project

CCK TM implemented a ventilation and smoke extraction solution for the underground parking of the Manhattan Residential Complex in Kharkiv.

The Manhattan Residential Complex is a multifunctional development comprising four multi-storey residential buildings, a three-storey shopping complex and a two-level underground garage. The residential buildings range from 17 to 21 storeys and accommodate a total of 414 apartments.


Parking Ventilation and Smoke Extraction

For a two-level underground parking facility, reliable ventilation is essential both during normal operation and in the event of a fire. The system must provide effective air exchange under normal conditions and enable rapid removal of smoke, hot gases and combustion products during an emergency.

CCK TM supplied the following equipment for the ventilation and smoke protection systems:


Installed Equipment

Purpose

AF-DU

Axial smoke exhaust fans for removing smoke, hot gases and heat during a fire.

VRAN-DU/DUV

Radial fans for efficient smoke and gas extraction from the parking areas.


AF-DU fans are designed for efficient removal of smoke and gases generated during a fire, as well as for extracting heat from buildings and enclosed spaces.

Their use helps create safer conditions for occupant evacuation, emergency response operations and equipment protection.

The AF-DU design includes a robust casing, high-performance impeller, electric motor and protective guard, providing reliable operation as part of smoke extraction systems.

VRAN-DU/DUV fans are designed to remove smoke and gases generated during a fire and can be used as part of smoke extraction systems.

The impeller features specially designed backward-curved blades, providing high efficiency, stable operation and low noise levels. The rotatable scroll casing allows the fan configuration to be adapted to the installation requirements of the building.


Project Result

For the underground parking of the Manhattan Residential Complex, CCK TM implemented an integrated solution combining axial and radial smoke extraction.

The equipment provides effective removal of smoke, hot gases and heat in the event of a fire, helping maintain safer conditions for occupant evacuation and emergency response operations.
