Active ventilation deflector

The Active Ventilation Deflector AVD is designed for ventilation of residential and office buildings, swimming pools, hangars, grain storage facilities, livestock complexes, and roof structural elements. It is also used for exhausting gases and steam from ventilation shafts of multi-storey buildings, ensuring stable and properly organized ventilation.

Thanks to its aerodynamic design, the deflector effectively removes hot air from indoor spaces and roof cavities during warm seasons, improving indoor comfort. The construction prevents rain, snow, birds, and foreign objects from entering the ventilation duct.

The deflector cap rotates continuously in one direction regardless of wind direction or speed. This rotation creates partial vacuum inside the duct, enhancing natural draft and preventing backdraft formation.

AVD roof elements with diameters from 100 mm to 630 mm are supplied as standard with three connection options:

• sleeve connection — installation on the outside of the ventilation duct;

• flanged connection — bolted flange connection;

• nipple connection — installation inside the ventilation duct.
