Leak Protection Pan
POD
The POD leak protection pan is designed to collect and drain condensate that forms at the boundary between moist air leaving the room and the cold metal parts of the fan and/or STAM roof curb.
Installation of the POD pan is mandatory at critical facilities such as warehouses, control rooms, and power substations.
In rooms with dry operating conditions, the POD pan is recommended to protect against heavy rainfall.
It is attached beneath the STAM roof curb using adjustable hangers and four special bolts. A drain fitting at the bottom of the pan allows connection of a condensate removal pipe.
