VNR-DU/DUV wall-mounted radial fans are designed for removing smoke and hot gases from smoke-filled areas during a fire. The airflow is discharged directly outdoors through the wall, ensuring efficient smoke extraction without additional duct systems.

The fans feature a backward-curved impeller, a toroidal inlet with a large entry diameter, and a spiral housing that provides high efficiency and low noise levels.

VNR-DU/DUV fans can be used in six installation configurations, both indoors and outdoors. When mounted indoors, the smoke-air mixture enters the fan either directly from the smoke-filled room (configurations 1 and 4) or through the duct (configurations 2 and 5) — in the latter case, an inlet box is installed at the fan inlet.

It is possible to operate the fans in smoke extraction mode (DU) or in the combined smoke extraction and ventilation mode (DUV). In the DUV mode, the fans are equipped with motors designed for continuous long-term operation.
